So I came up with this brilliant idea that I'm going to spend my summer taking EVERY SINGLE TTC Bus route...dont ask why. At first I was excited, then I decided I was crazy and now I'm sure I'm crazy however so far its been alot of fun. In order to track/share my progress obviously I'm going to blog about it! Starting of course with the routes I take most frequently, over the next couple of weeks there will hopefully be a large number of posts detailing my ridiculous mission...

going greek! Astoria on the Danforth!
I haven't necessarily come up with a standard format for blogging certain things yet, but i guess that will come as i go...First of all HAPPY CANADA DAY (even though it was yesterday) i can honestly say i had a fantastic holiday! I spent much of the morning cleaning sorting and packing and around 3 decided i was hungry.

After much deliberation over what to eat myself and Jess (my azn sister) decided we wanted greek...Most often once we decide what we want to eat the next question is where however when we want greek there is only one place to go THE DANFORTH. I will be doing a much larger post on the Danforth itself so stay tuned for that...Today's post is about one of my favorite Greek restuarants...ASTORIA!
Astoria is located on the Danforth about 5 minutes from Chester Subway Station (on the Bloor-Danforth line). The location is convenient the atmosphere is amazing, the service is never less than friendly and most importantly the food is beyond satisfying. We each had Souvlaki dinner (mine chicken, Js lamb) both with rice and potatoes however im sure the other options are fantastic too. We could've ordered appetizers and Baklava for dessert but believe me unless you can eat a horse the dinner is enough...even just the amazing greek salad they bring you to start is filling!

Stuffed and satisfied Jess and I then headed down to the beach for some Canada Day fireworks and to relax...a meal like that requires a nap!

i love my city...
Hey Guys
I guess a first post should always be an introduction so here it is. I started this blog for two very simple reasons, 1. i love my city. and 2. i know my city. Ask anyone who knows me, if you need to get somewhere or find something tia will know where it is what it is and how to get there (by car or ttc). With summer in full swing i thought this would be the best time to start this blog, showing off all the amazing things my city has to offer.
stay tuned...
